As the Sound Designer of Seussical my responsibilities included:


• Setting up a QLab 4 audio system for audio and projections to enable synchronized playback during performances

• Programming a Stream Deck to make playback tactile for the operator and more reliable for firing cues on time

• Instructing operators on how to use QLab 4 system

As the A1:


• Utilizing a line-by-line mixing technique to enhance audio quality

• Troubleshooting Dante issues (first time user of Dante at this venue) with patching, network, and signal issues

• Setting up a new Behringer x32 Console with 16 microphones (8 brand-new), with EQ, compression, and gating on all microphones to adapt to the space.

As the RSM:


• Composing daily rehearsal reports and contributing 4K recordings of choreography for actors and designers to view

• Copying down all blocking and non-choreo movement for reference

• Training an underclassman on how to call the show while I mix.
