The Taming of the Shrew, directed by Brendan Didio, closed on August 16th, 2026 at Shakespeare in Delaware Park.


* Shakespeare in Delaware Park is a free outdoor theatre in Buffalo, NY seeing over 40,000 guests per season. It is the second oldest and one of the largest free Shakespeare festivals in the country.

As the A1 for The Taming of the Shrew my responsibilities included:


• Cleaning, testing, and maintaining wireless microphones

• Mixing the performance, allowing the constant ensemble reactions to shine through the main mix.

• Problem solving consistent sweat-outs, using cost effective methods to keep the elements from making contact with skin (condoms, metal wire, placement adjustments)

As the Asst. Sound Designer:


• Working with the director and sound designer to edit/find/record specialty cues, essential to the comedic nature of the production

• Organizing cue lists and locating multiple cue options for the designer to choose.

• Making minor adjustments in between performances.
